So I had reached the limits of what was to observe with my Skywatcher Explorer 150/750 PDS. I looked at the moon, I stared at Saturn and Titan, Jupiter and its 4 Galilean moons, the orange dot that was Mars and half a dot that was some form of Venus’ crescent and even managed to get a glimpse of Mercury.

Further out I could identify the core of the Andromeda Galaxy and managed to see Ring Nebula but that was about it. I even bought a second telescope, a Skywatcher SkyMax 127 to be able to zoom in a lot more!

Now do not get me wrong, I can look at the Moon, Jupiter and Saturn for hours, but that was not why I bought a telescope, I wanted to take pictures!
