Polar aligning a telescope mount, is not difficult once you know what you are doing, but it is a very annoying task. It requires us to kneel, sit or lay down on the ground in order to be able to look through the polar finder scope.

I am rather tall, and not that flexible. That makes polar aligning a telescope mount not a pleasant experience, especially during winter when the ground is freezing cold!

That all changed when I discovered this add-on. It allows me to polar align whilst sitting or squatting!

Not a must-have, but a good nice-to-have. Additionally, I found one that allows for doubling the magnification of the polar finder-scope which makes fine-tuning the alignment easier.
